A point selection is made by dragging a point from the tree on the left into the Point Name column on a single row. This point name will be set against each of the assets in the grid template. This is generally selected from the container of an asset that has been added to the template grid.

The Column label will be auto-filled with the name of the Point name. This can be changed, as can the Column Width.

On the right – the Validation section will be populated with a Numeric rule as default. This rule will prevent any text from being entered into a cell on the grid that is set to only accept numerical values for a point column.

The Point Attributes section is not applicable to a Point Value column type.
